About Us

Mount Pleasant Area Junior High School is a two grade level junior high with approximately 350 students in grades seven through eight. The secondary building was opened in 1965 as a jointure of Mount Pleasant Township Hurst and Mount Pleasant Ramsay High Schools. Located in the beautiful Laurel Highlands, Mount Pleasant Area Junior High School is located approximately 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, PA.

Important message from MPA Jr-Sr HS

At the November 2nd school board meeting, the school board approved our school district to move to a full remote, online learning model until January 21, 2021. It is important to note that moving to a fully remote, online learning platform will require a change on how instruction is delivered. Please click above for full details.

OTIS for Educators/Parents

OTIS for educators is your new online training and support platform. Videos on OTIS help parents/guardians learn how to support distance learning by teaching skills like troubleshooting a home wireless connection, Connecting to Google Classroom or Schoology, and much more. We encourage all of our district’s parents to sign up.

Meal Signup Form

Please submit a Form for each child for whom you are requesting meals. Forms must be submitted no later than Sunday and Tuesday evenings by 10 pm to request meals for the following days. Forms must be submitted each week.

Chromebook Protect Plan
