Welcome to Mount Pleasant Area Junior High School, a school dedicated to providing you and your family a high quality education. We hold dear the value of students learning life skills, academics, and values that will enable them to be successful for tomorrow.

Many factors have led to our school district’s success since 1965.  Bright and inquisitive students. Talented and caring teachers. Dedicated staff.  Loyal former students. A proud, hard-working community.

As we plan for the new school year, our focus will still be to ensure that every student: feels connected, feels challenged, and feels cared for.  Junior High is a time of transition for our students. Our students come to us as children and leave as young adults ready to begin their high school experiences. We are here to support them through this journey.

Our school’s legacy reminds us of our obligation to support our children and neighbors.  It includes sharing our expertise through different platforms to improve the quality of life for our students, involving the Mount Pleasant Area community to our school, and constantly refining our creative and hands-on learning programs.
